Once I figured out how to actually do the voice thread and get it on the wiki page, I like the idea of it being used in a classroom. Honestly, I do not think I will be using it that often in my future classroom, though. I want to teach kindergarten, and the thought of going through all of this again for 5 year olds sounds painful. I really think that this could be effective with older ages such as second grade and older.
The voice thread was helpful and fun because it allowed the writer of the story to incorporate actual voices, whether it was their own or someone else's, into their own story to make it "come to life." Like I said before, I believe that this could be very helpful with older students who could actually do this on their own with maybe a little bit of help, but I would use it maybe just once with my kindergarten class if at all in the future. I did like my finished product, though!
